Health and Peace

This card is a vintage style one. The main stamped image is from la Blanche stamps. This is a lovely image of a picturesque landsape and foilage and reminds me of the North where I grew up. I have stamped this image using a Brilliance ink pad(Pearlescent Rust) and embossed it. I then edged around the image using distress ink(Vintage Photo)  The backing papers are from DCWV(Once Upon a Time). I have used stamps from Creative Expressions(IVY) to add a florish of leaves surrounding the image. The leaves were stamped a few times and coloured in using promarkers. They were then cut out in different areas and layered up for a dimensional effect. The sentiment is from the same stamp sheet as the leaves and combined with a spellbinders die(Fancy Tags Two).
There is some fibres and ribbon added aqnd some flowers which were white but have been dusted over using the distress ink. This tones the colours together and adds the vintage style to the card.

Trick or Treat

This card uses a favourite boys stamp of mine from Lili of the Valley(Abracadabra). I love this cute image. The image has been coloured using promarkers.
The backing papers are from my scrapbooking stash papers and are from Pebbles inc. They are really good and bright.
I had some novelty buttons in my box and have cut the backs of to attach them onto the card(spider and frog). The sentiment is from papertmania and has been nested onto a spellbinders die cut label. The flourishes are also from spellbinders but I love using these as starbursts shapes. The star shape which the image is nested on has been hand drawn as I didn't have a die cut this shape but I like the way it has turned out. I have added some  Cosmic Shimmer Black Pearl drops around the star shape for dimension..

You've Got Real Style

Well I am finally back to blogging. The absence from my blog was due to moving house. I am finally unpacked and now in a new craft room. It feels strange getting used to things being in a different place but I;m sure it won't be long before it all ends up on my table as it was before.
Todays card is a male themed one. The stamped image of the car is from Creative Expressions(Dream Cars).
I have stamped this a few times and layered it up to give some dimension. The image is coloured using promarkers. I have embossed a circle using the cuttlebug and an embossing folder as a background for the image to go onto. The circle was sponged over using distress ink(weathered wood).
The background papers are from DCWV and Hot of the Press. The sentiment is from the same stamp sheet as the main image.
Promarkers used: canary, cool grey 1,2,3,4 , black.
