Hello everyone and hope you all enjoyed the festive period. A little back to normal now for me as we await the new year festivities.

A little more of a break in the craft room and a bit of playing with some new xmas stash!!!!

I have stamped and coloured with Promarkers the corner rose from Creative Expressions. I cut around it and used some distress ink on the edges before attaching it to the corner of the card.

I received some new JustRite sentiment stamps for Christmas and have used these for the label and sentiment.

Some quality time found

Hello everyone and seasons greetings. Hope you have had a lovely time. I had a lovely day with my family.
Among the midst of the dashing and rushing around I rewarded myself with a little time in my craft room and have been using some of the new singles stamps from Creative Expressions. This rose stamp has always been a favourite of mine and I thin k can be used for so many different occasions.

I used Promarkers (Peach, Bright Orange, Pumpkin, Moss, Marsh Green, Forest Green)to colour the image and nested it on a spellbinders die coloured with distress inks.
The sentiment is from a JustRite set of stamps and again so versatile for all occasions. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out to place over the top of the image.

I am entering into the following challenges:
Passion for Promarkers challenge228-include a sentiment
Crafting For all seasons challenge #67- Anything but a Christmas card
Crafty Creations challenge #253- Anything Goes
Charisma cardz challenge #49 - Anything goes
Creative Card Crew challenge 52- Anything Goes
Cute card Thursday challenge#301 - Anything goes
Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge#130 - Anything goes

I hope you all enjoy the rest of the festive period and I wish you all the best for the New Year. Thank you for all your friendships over the last year and here's to another new year of continued friendships and blogging!

A Little Time out

Just a little note to all of you who follow my blog here. We have fast approached that time of year when everything starts to get really busy for us all and I am no exception!! You may have noticed the lack of posts from me recently and I am not leaving my blog just having a little rest for a while. Some of you may have noticed that I have stepped down for a while from my DT Commitments as well. I felt it only fair to the teams that I made this decision so as not to let anyone down.

I am sorry if I haven't visited your blogs recently but will be popping round soon to catch up on what I have missed.

I will be back shortly but I'm just having a little time out!

After some thought I came up with the vintage look and have decided to give some of these out at Christmas instead of cards. The flowers have been made from some gelli prints and have a gold metallic paint on them which is why they look like they are shiny!! It is the paint doing that!

Vintage Cracker

Hello again everyone. Please scroll down for my earlier post today.

I bought these pre cut crackers last year and really wasn't sure then how I wanted to do them. After a bit of thought today I decided a vintage theme would suit me more and this afternoon provided a little play time!!
I coloured the card with distress inks and stamped and embossed some holly in bronze.

I put this vintage image on the front and decorated the sides with some die cut flowers and leaves from another piece of coloured card to match the cracker:

I'm really happy with this one and will be making some more now for a display near the tree.

I am entering this project into the following challenges:

Snowflakes are Angel kisses

Hello everyone and hope your all having a good week so far.

Todays card is something a bit different for me and not really something that I feel in a comfort zone with! The WOW card!!! I have been trying lately to experiment with this and here is one that I feel happy with.
I have used embossing folders for the backgrounds and the snowglobe stamp is from Stampography(Kraftyhands)
The sentiment is from Stampendous. I have added glitter to the snowglobe image but find these cards hard to photograph well so I am hoping you can pick it out on the roofs and trees!!!
The snowflakes are from a Memory Box die.

The sketch I choose for this one is from Papertake Weekly #59:

This is the closure to my book using ribbon and spiders web:
