Vintage Cracker

Hello again everyone. Please scroll down for my earlier post today.

I bought these pre cut crackers last year and really wasn't sure then how I wanted to do them. After a bit of thought today I decided a vintage theme would suit me more and this afternoon provided a little play time!!
I coloured the card with distress inks and stamped and embossed some holly in bronze.

I put this vintage image on the front and decorated the sides with some die cut flowers and leaves from another piece of coloured card to match the cracker:

I'm really happy with this one and will be making some more now for a display near the tree.

I am entering this project into the following challenges:
Charisma Cardz challenge #43- Anything But Cards
Moving Along with The Times challenge-No design or Digital papers
Crafty Creations challenge #246-make it yourself (background colour and stamping)

Thanks for stopping by and visiting today.

Snowflakes are Angel kisses

Hello everyone and hope your all having a good week so far.

Todays card is something a bit different for me and not really something that I feel in a comfort zone with! The WOW card!!! I have been trying lately to experiment with this and here is one that I feel happy with.
I have used embossing folders for the backgrounds and the snowglobe stamp is from Stampography(Kraftyhands)
The sentiment is from Stampendous. I have added glitter to the snowglobe image but find these cards hard to photograph well so I am hoping you can pick it out on the roofs and trees!!!
The snowflakes are from a Memory Box die.

The sketch I choose for this one is from Papertake Weekly #59:

I have added some metal embellishments to the front cover here and a bottle. Inside the bottle I have rolled up a skeleton image. Hard to photo close up so hope you can just see it!!

This is the closure to my book using ribbon and spiders web:

There are 12 pages to this album. I have selected a few to show you here:

12 tags 2013 - October

Hello everyone. Hope you all have some good plans for the week ahead.

I have made this tag to join in with the 12 Tags 2013 - October with Tim Holtz on his blog.
The colours and sparkle real attracted me to this one and so strange as glitter is really so not a thing of mine. I must say I really like the new distress glitter and very little flies around all over the place!!!!

I have done the background with the distress paints and die cut from grungeboard some of the Sizzix dies. I painted them in acrylic paint and then used the rock candy glitter on top. I then coloured over them with my distress inks. I stamped the spiders from Stamper's Anonymous - Halloween Cutouts stamp set.

This tag is for:

I hope you like my tag and thanks for visiting today.
