Stay Strong

hello everyone and thanks for stopping by here today.

So I have had a few quite moments to have a play in my journal and just relax a little after the last couple of busy weeks I have had!!

Using my Dina Wakley Mixed Media Journal I have just painted a background using Dina Wakley paints and randomly stencilled(Dina Wakley Stencils)over the top 

Earlier in the week I had some left over paint so used them on some spare tags. Well yes this is one of those tags added onto the page and Dina Wakley Scribbled face stamped on to it.

I love using the fabric pages in the journal mixed with the other pages so I tore out some of the fabric page  and frayed the edges on both pieces torn pieces.

This I have added for some textural element onto the tag ends and painted on it to blend it in.

Finally stamped a quote "Stay Strong" from Dina Wakley Handwritten Quotes stamp set to finish the page.

After a short break...

Hello everyone and yes after a short little break from blogging I have finally managed to find time for myself again and have a little happy time back with my journal.

I have been busy working on my first University assignment and I won't mind admitting a lot of work has gone into it but hope the work will reap the reward in grades!!!

So onto journaling.... well no better way than to open my Dina Wakley Mixed Media Journal and just play.

I worked on the watercolour page but have added a strip of the canvas fabric from another page for some textural element.

Using Dina Wakley paints and a tag with Dina Wakley stamp set "Splattered Girl" stamped on it .

I have then used the quotes and stars from the same set and added some scribble circle text from Dina Wakley Stamp set-Text and Scribbles.

Just love how all these stamps fit so well together.
