Happy Halloween-Boo

Hello again everyone. Please scroll down for my first post today as this is my second posting.

I was having a play in my journal and just thought I would do something for Halloween as it is tonight.
I have used a stamp from Stampotique (Agatha Crown) and added her some bat wings for the night so she could join in the fun!!

Lots of paint in the background and a lot of stencils.

Buzzzzzz...

Hello everyone and nearly the end of another week. Hope you all have some good plans for the weekend.

A bit of collage journaling today. I have some wonderful collage images from Tumblefish Studios and love the series of Busy Bee People. So I had a bit of fun with this one.
The background is Dylusion sprays. I just love these colours together especially the orange.

Mini journalling Page

Hello everyone and hope your having a good week so far.

yesterday I attended a workshop at Art From the Heart with Kate Crane. We were working in mini journals. Now my journal page here is on a journal measuring 4" x 6" which is the smallest I have journalled on to date!

I had such fun working on this one . The monster image is a stamp from Stampotique(this is actually my first one I have used) and there are collaged pieces from Crowabout Studios. Lots of painty background . Blue and yellow backgrounds with a pop of orange work well for me as many of you who follow me will have noticed! The quote is from a Dylusions stamp set.

Remember, remember....

Hello everyone and hope you all have some good plans for the week ahead.

This is my art journal calendar page finished for next month(sorry the pic could have been better but the dark setting in earlier now is not so good in my craft room!!)
I was thinking fireworks with this one and all the bright colours lighting up the sky. I have also included my poppy for Remembrance.

Hello everyone and hope your all enjoying your weekend.

This is a journal page I have done for a Facebook challenge. The prompt was Lime and orange colours and include  Toadstools/Mushrooms.

Twitter

Hello everyone and hope you have good plans for the weekend.

I have been having a bit of a catch up with Journal 52 and week 28 was - Technology.

I had a bit of fun with this one and whilst playing around with the owls just reminded me of Twitter.
Now this is something I don't use as Technology is a bit above me at times!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon

Autumnal Wall Plaque

Hello everyone and hope your all ok.

I was recently blog hopping and came across this fabulous project over at Simon Monday Challenge Blog by Emma Williams .
I loved this and wanted to do something like it for my kitchen. I had an MDF door hanger and painted it. I have added lots of different die cuts from card using distress paints backgrounds. I am really pleased with the way this has turned out.

Trick Or treat

Hello everyone and hope your week is going well so far.

So today I have made a card for Halloween. I love this time of year and all the Halloween decorations you can get.
I have used my distress inks and a stamp set from Stamper's Anonymous. I love this solid image of the children .

I have added some black fabric spider's web as I think it goes so well with this occasion and also tied some with the ribbon bow for dimension. The word "Boo" has been cut from a Sizzix die with black cardstock.

I have used this weeks current sketch from Creative Inspirations challenge and rotated it:

Autumn

Hello everyone and hope your all well. I am taking a bit of time to recover but the virus wiped me off my feet so I suppose it will just take a bit of time!

So Autumn is now here and the leaves are falling quickly but beautiful colours all around.
I have made this Autumnal card and used a favourite stamp of mine of the large oak tree from Sheena Douglass. Lots of distress ink colours and alcohol inked background with leaves stamped and heat embossed on to.
I have used the sketch from this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge and rotated it:

First Quilt

Hello everyone and hope your all ok. I am sorry for my lack of blogging lately but I have been really poorly with the horrible virus that seems to be doing it's rounds!! Knocked me right of my feet and I am only starting now after nearly two weeks to come back around again!!!

So this is a different post for me. This is my first attempt at quilting and is my Halloween quilt. There are a few mistakes here and there but that is all part of the learning process and I am really pleased with it finished.
