Discover journal page

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by.
I have managed to find a little bit of "ME" time today so have been working on a journal page.

I love lots of layers in my pages and using my stencils to create them. I try not to put too much thought into the process and then I find my creativity becoming more free.

Products used:
Dina Wakley paints-lemon, cheddar, Turquoise, Fuchsia, magenta, black, white, night
Dina Wakley stamps-Splatter Girl, Insects
Dina Wakley stencils, Big leafy, cellular, Leaves, Butterflies, I want

Lots of Layers

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by here today!
I just love finding a little time to just play in my journal and no finished project in mind!!!
It's how I discover what works for me and what may not!1
However layers are my all time favourite play and I just love using stencils and seeing where they take the page.
This journal page has been made using Dina Wakley mixed media products-paints, stencils and stamp quote. I love using colour and then using the power of black on top of it!

Products used: Dina Wakley paints-lemon, tangerine, Lime, Blackberry, Night, Black, white
Dina Wakley stencils- Big leafy, Flying birds masks, leaves masks, Wheels, Mini favourites, Cellular
Dina Wakley stamp quote from Splatter Girl stamp set.

Stolen Moments in my journal...

Hello everyone and welcome to my new followers. Thank you for joining me and hope you enjoy your visits here on my blog.

So I have managed to have some of those "stolen moments" to myself to play in my journal
This piece has so many built up layers of paint and stencils in the background that there came a time when I had to stop myself before I lost control of the page!! All paints and stencils are from Dina Wakley media range.
I have mainly concentrated on using the new released stamp set from Dina Wakley-Splattered Girl. I just so love this focal image and finds it works so well on any background piece. I have used the quote "Art Is Life" and the random circle marks stamp both of which are on the same set.
Nothing on this page was a planned process and one of those moments when I allow myself not to overthink and just enjoy the freedom of art journalling.
