Mail Art Postcard

 

Hello everyone and hope you have all been keeping well.

 

So I have been having a bit of a break from my blog as life has just been so busy with me and my family. However I have managed to find a little time to spare in my room today and it feels so long since I last sat at my desk!

 

I made a page in my Dylusions journal and I really wasn't very keen on the finished result! I put it away and then thought it was maybe just too much as a whole page so decided to cut it up for mail art postcard backgrounds. Well I loved them and I just had to add a collage image on top.

 

It looks so different to the original page and I love the areas the background is showing.

 

I think I will become pretty addicted to these !!

Missing Mojo !!!

Hello everyone and are you all looking forward to the weekend. I have a workshop tomorrow at Art From the Heart so a bit of play time there.

However I have been so busy lately that it has played badly on my mojo and this week it has really gone missing from me.

So I had a gelli print background done in an A3 sketchbook and have just decided to start from there and go with the flow. Must admit at some points I was beginning to think I had perhaps lost the plot!!! But kept on and this has emerged !!! Have to say I really like it !

Nothing in particular just relaxing and playing with paints and adding my favourite things.

Number 1 at Dragons Dream challenge

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Dragons Dream tag It On challenge.

It is also the start of a new theme and we are now challenging you to use numbers on your tags. this can either be as a number or a number of images as long as it uses the number for the weeks challenge.

This week our number chosen is Number 1.

So I have a gelli printed background as my base tag with added doodling on it. I used a Brusho background piece for the Butterfly and quote and added these on. I stamped a numerical number 1 on the tag.

Hello !!!!

 

Hello everyone and hope your all well. Happy Independence day to all my followers over the pond today !

 

 

So I have been missing a bit lately and sorry for not visiting so much. Life has been going a bit busy here and only just quite for a while.

 

Last week I had an interview at Leeds City College. I have applied to study a course in production Arts -theatrical costume, hair and make-up. Well I am pleased to say they have offered me a place and I start in September !!!!!!!

 

I am so looking forward to it.

 

 

Anyway I have decide that I just needed some time out and I have done this page using some download collage images from Mischief Circus. I just let the page go whre it wanted and find this sort of journaling very relaxing.

 

I will get round to visiting you all again as I have missed quite a bit!!!!! and thanks to all of you sticking with me(lol)
