GNPE and a brilliant workshop

Morning everyone. Well I have been a bit absent this week from my blog as life often has a habit of throwing things at you all at once. It's been a bit up and down in my life at the moment but I am hoping to settle a bit and try and get back to some crafting.
Yesterday I went to the Great Nothern Papercrafts Show in Harrogate. Wow it was busy but there were lots to see .
Also yesterday I gave myself a treat and did a workshop at a shop owned by Dyan Reaveley who you may have seen on the last QVC show with Tim Holtz, The workshop was run by Kaz Hall and we made a tag which I will photo and show next week. It was great fun and lots of spraying inks and mixed media techniques. I needed it to lift my spirits a little and so glad I went. Definately gave me a new way of working but fab.
Well I am going to get round to visiting you all as I know I haven't managed this week

Fairy Magic

Evening all. A bit of stamping today and some promarker colouring. This card uses a fairy from the Crafter's Companion flower fairies set. I stamped the image a few times and layered her up for some dimension.
The backgrounds have been embossed using folders and the cuttlebug. The little butterflies are stamps from the same set and promarkers.

With Love..

Evening to everyone. Well it was a long afternoon in Leeds and I sure that place gets bigger every time I go. Never mind another appointment over for another year. I found the LOTV shop but by the time I got there - you guessed it - closed. However I must say what a lovely and inspirational place it looks and as it's only 45 mins away for me I can go back anytime now. I think they will be at the GNPE show in Harrogate next weekend so I'll catch them there as well.
Todays card I made this morning and just love this image. Very bright colours for this one but I think they work really well together.

Forever Friend

Evening all. Wow two posts in one day, I must be doing good. A bit of time to myself this afternoon and I manged to make this card for a female birthday next week.
This is from a new stamp set I got in Manchester the other week and is having it's first outing. I have used my promarkers to colour it.

Have a Wonderful Birthday

Good Morning to you all and hope you all  have a craft day ahead of you. I need to do some housework first and then hoping to get back in the craft room this afternoon.
Todays card is an image from the Faye Wittaker Cd rom - All our Yesterdays. As you have probably guessed by now I do love these images and can find something for all occassions.
I had some shell buttons in my stash which I thought went really well with this card and also added some string which I have sewn at the side of the sentiment to keep up with the theme.

St. Patrick's day card

Good afternoon everyone. Hope you have all had a good day. I've had quite a bit of time to myself today and an empty house which is very unusual for me. The challenge over at The Secret Crafter this week is to make a green card so I thought I'd make a card for St. Patricks day which is on the 17th March. I found this vintage image of this little girl all in traditional costume and thought it was so pretty.

Hugs, Kisses and butterfly wishes

Morning to everyone. Todays card is a bit out of my comfort zone with using pastel colours. I like vintage images and these stamps from La Blanche are really beautiful and I have quite a few. I decided to use some pastel pinks and blues .
I love this image of the girl wondering through the flowers.
