Paint Your Dreams Tag

Hello everyone. I am slowly managing to find a few quiet moments in the craft room during these holidays!!

A new challenge has started over at DragonsDream Tag challenge and this week is the letter P and some cogs.

So my tag is full of the letter P- paint, pink, purple, perfect pearls, petals and a quote(Paint Your Dreams)

I chose a stamp from Creative Expressions with these steampunk flowers and some corner cog stamps.

Lots of paint and layers in the background.

Live Laugh Love

Hello everyone. I have not been posting regularly lately as time really doesn't seem to be on my side at the moment!!

I have been working on week 2 of the Me Time Messages hosted by Clare. Please pop over to her blog here for the details.

I have been quite random with this piece and it is not something I am quite used to so has brought me out my comfort zone a bit. There are a lot of layers in the background and the flowers are cut out from some Gelli plate prints.

Thanks for stopping by and I am trying to visit you all as I go along.

Train Journey

Hello everyone. Apologies for not visiting any blogs these past few days(well nearly a week!!). Life has been busy for me and now starts the school holidays so even more busier!!! I will be around to you all shortly.

So I have managed to find a few hours to myself and needed a card for a man so found my favourite stamp set from Stamper's Anonymous. I just love this image and the rail tracks. We always end up a train during our holidays but not one like this!! Usually the express to London!

I have used distress inks(Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo) and a couple of embossing folders for the background.

I am joining in with challenges:

The First Me Time Message

Hello everyone and hope your all ok.

This is the first of my projects for the Me Time Messages project being run by my crafting blog friend Clare. You can find details here if you are interested.

So inside here holds my message I wrote to myself. Now believe me it is that sealed you would need a code from secret service to get in(lol)

So gessoed and painted I have added some flowers from Dylusions stamps and a quote to carry on from what is inside:

"I am now going to learn to grow"

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon

Letter K and Hearts

Hello everyone and hope your all well.

Now this one is very much on the same technique as yesterday but the stamp was still on my desk.

This weeks new challenge over at Tag It On Dragons Dream is the letter 'K' and Heart(s).
So my stamp staring at me reminded that the common used name for a group of butterflies is a "Kaleidoscope" The splattered background also reminds me of a Kaleidoscope of colour.
I have added some metal heart brads .

Also over at Sunday Stampers this week we are being challenged to use some wood in our projects and I thought the wooden heart shape fitted this well.

I am joining in with:
Sunday stampers challenge week 314-Knock on wood
Unruly Papercrafts - July reader Art Quest-Summer Fiesta

Keep Creating....

Hello everyone and hope your all having a good week so far.

This tag was a play around for me. I used Dylusions inks(Vibrant Turquoise and Lemon Zest). I used the flick and splatter and blew through a straw. I love this type of background and you never know how it going to turn out with no two being the same.
I have stamped the butterflies to the side and added a favourite quote of mine.

I am going to join in with:
Sketchy Colors challenge #217- Grey , Turquoise, White and yellow
Papertake Weekly challenge - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations challenge#272 - Anything goes and option of a sketch
Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon
