I'm back....

My it has been some weeks but I am able to come back now...
The reason for my absence was I was sitting my final exams at college and had to be strict with myself!1 Banned from the craft room for a while-not through choice but had to be done!1

Anyway exams over and catching up nicely with art.

I have been playing in my Dina Wakley mixed media journal again and just loving all the fabric pages in here. I am enjoying mixing the pages up and connecting them all back together again.

In this page I have worked on one of the watercolour pages but have cut some painted burlap of one of the fabric pages and cut out some circles to add on. The page takes a different element when you mix these pages together.
I used Dina Wakley paints and a stamp from Dina's scribbly insects stamp set. There are some background stamps and also a quote from the same set as the butterfly.

I am joining in with challenges:
Simon says Monday challenge-We're going round in circles

Thank you for stopping by and coming back to visit after a while. I really appreciate it!!
see you soon

Hello everyone and thanks for stooping by here today.
Well I am on day 2 of my little challenge to create 100 pieces of cardboard art.
This is an off cut from a cereal box which has a coat of Gesso applied first.
Using a brayer and Dina Wakley paints, stamps and stencils in the background. I have used the Dina Wakley Ancient Gold paint and if you have not tried this yet believe me I am now in LOVE with it!!!
I added some hearts along with a beautiful collage butterfly which I am hoping now the weather is warming up I will start to see these out in my garden. They have just started to appear here so signs of warmer weather is looking good!
