I have used a background stamp from Just Rite Stamps of the Paris collage. I have used a Tim Holtz border edge die of the butterflies cut using Kraft card and made this a pocket at the bottom. I have made a Kraft tag with a topper and put it inside the pocket.

Welcome Baby

Hello everyone and more sunshine here in the North. I haven't had much spare time this week with the school holidays and I guess it may be like that for the rest of the six weeks.

I would like to say hello to my new follower Sally and so glad you have joined me. I hope you enjoy your visits here.

Todays card reflects the wonderful news this week of a new Royal baby being born. I must admit to being surprised as I thought the baby was going to be a girl!!!

I have used a favourite La Blanche stamp of mine and love the Victorian feel to this one. I have used distress inks and some stamps from Papermania with it.

Christmas in July(in this heat!!!!)

 

Hello everyone and hope you all going to have a good weekend. Weather looks set to continue and the kids have broken up for the holidays now !!

 

Now I haven't had a funny turn in all this heat with a Xmas card today!! It's time for a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin. I struggled but found the mojo and went with my usual traditional look. This is a favourite image of mine and used very often used at this time of year.

Enjoy Life's Moments

Hello everyone and hope your all having a good week. weather still continuing to be very hot up here in the North Yorks area.

This card uses a favourite stamp of mine from La Blanche. I always think of Victorian times when I look at this as it reminds me of the old Victorian type postcards.
I have used distress inks (Shabby Shutters and Shaded Lilac) for the colours.

Quality Threads

Hello everyone and it looks like the weather is set to continue up here in the North Yorks. Hope it's nice with you!

The challenge over at Cupcake Crafts this week is a photo inspiration:

 

I thought straight away of a sewing theme and the lovely purple and green colours for my card. I have used the image from JustRite stamps and stamped twice to layer some parts of it. I have used distress inks (Dusty Concord and Peeled Paint).

I bought some of these metal scissor embellishments at the weekend and think they are perfect for this card.

Butterfly Journal

Hello everyone and hope you all had a great weekend. I managed to go to the summer crafting show in Doncaster but was it hot!! I bought some new Artistic Outpost stamps and a few other little bits I had been wanting.

This journal I have made and was inspired by an article in an old Craft Stamper magazine. I just knew I had to have a go at this.
I have used my favourite stamp and coloured them with inks.

Nautical

Hello everyone and hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine if you were lucky to get it. It has been really warm here in North Yorks and this week is the Great Yorkshire show so the town is very busy.

I managed to tuck myself away for a few hours from the unpacking and have a little play with some craft. It feels good to be back at my table with some inks!!!

This uses an Inkylicious stamp of the ocean liner and a few Stampers Anonymous images with it. I have inked and masked a background and added a side panel using a Kaisercraft stamp of the postmarks.

Your Favourite Things at Allsorts

Now many of you will know that my favourite stamp has to be by Stampers Anonymous and the butterflies. My favourite inks are of course the Distress inks and my favourite technique is masking.

 

Of course I love to make mini albums and fill them with lots of little pieces of work.

I figured new house and new craft room so why not a new blog make over!!!Still have a few things to do on it but love it so far.

Anyway I am just about there in the craft room now and I am hoping to be settled and back crafting again this weekend.
