Vintage Sewing Drawers

This project is a little different today. I often like to take other things and decorate them. This was a plain brown cardboard set of drawers I have painted the drawers with silver acrylic paint. When dry I used the sewing stamp set from Creative Expressions. This set has lovely images all things to do with sewing. I randomly stamped all over with them using a black ink pad.
The drawer handles uses one of the cotton reels stamp from the set. I stamped into air drying clay and wrapped some black thread around them. A little minature sewing machine has been placed on top and the draweres are filled with lace, ribbon and pices of fabric all wrapped around cardboard strips. For the feet of the drawers I have painted some empty cotton reels in the same silver acrylic paint and glued on to the bottom.
